MITSUBISHI ACTIVE SKID AND TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM
35C-10
.
CIRCUIT OPERATION
If the active skid control switch is turned on, current
flows from the M-ASTC-ECU terminal 78 through the
active skid control switch to ground. If the active skid
control switch is turned off, current flows from the
M-ASTC-ECU terminal 85 through the active skid
control switch to ground.
.
M-ASTC DTC SET CONDITION
DTC 17 is set when the active skid control switch is
turned on and off simultaneously.
.
TROUBLESHOOTING HINTS
The most likely causes for DTC 17 to set are:
• The active skid control switch is defective.
• Damaged harness wires and connectors
• The M-ASTC-ECU is defective.
