Inspection Conditions
• Ignition switch: ON
• After ignition switch has been turned to ON position, or after 2 seconds
from the time the engine has fully started up
• Engine speed approx. 2,000~4,000 rpm
Evaluation conditions
• No change in vehicle speed signal for duration of 4 seconds (pulse signal
is not input)
• Vehicle speed sensor malfunction
• Vehicle speed sensor circuit broken, has a
short circuit, or poor connector contact
• Engine ECU malfunction

measurement at pick up harness
• Ignition switch: ON
• Voltage across 5 - earth
OK: 5 ~ 6V
