NOTICE:
I
When LCU connectors are disconnected for more than 1 minute such as during trouble diagnoses,
the “disconnected” data will be memorized by the BCM. (While BCM memorizes the “disconnected”
data, IVMS communication diagnosis of CONSULT-II will display “PAST NO RESPONSE”.)
Therefore, after reconnecting the LCU connectors, erase the memory.
I
To erase the memory, perform the procedure below.
Erase the memory with CONSULT-II (Refer to EL-291.) or turn the ignition switch to “OFF” position
and remove 7.5A fuse [No.
14
located in the fuse block (J/B)].

Filament Check
1.
Attach probe circuit tester (in volt range) to middle portion of
each filament.
SEL122R
I
When measuring voltage, wrap tin foil around the top of
the negative probe. Then press the foil against the wire
with your finger.
SEL265
2.
If a filament is burned out, circuit tester registers 0 or 12 volts.
SEL266
3.
To locate burned out point, move probe along filament. Tester
needle will swing abruptly when probe passes the point.
