SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
Auto
amplifier
controls
compressor
operation
by
ambient
temperature, intake temperature, and signal from ECM.
Low temperature protection control
Auto amplifier will turn the compressor “ON” or “OFF” as deter-
mined by a signal detected by ambient sensor and intake sensor.
When ambient temperatures are greater than 1.7°C (35°F), the
compressor turns “ON”. The compressor turns “OFF” when ambi-
ent temperatures are less than −1°C (30°F).
When ambient temperature is lower than 13°C (55°F) and the tem-
perature detected by intake sensor is less than 7°C (45°F), the
compressor turns OFF after receiving a signal from ECM.
