Confirm the symptom or customer complaint.

2.

Understand system description. Refer to

LT-6, "System Description"

3.

Perform the preliminary check. Refer to

LT-19, "Preliminary Check"

4.

Find the cause of malfunction following the symptom chart and repair or replace as necessary. Refer to

LT-24, "Symptom Chart 1"

(for headlamp system) or

LT-24, "Symptom Chart 2"

(for auto light system).

5.

Does the headlamp system or the auto light system operate normally? If YES, GO TO 6. If NO, GO TO 4.
