Door mirrors cannot be actuated by both automatic and
manual.
1. Door mirror remote control switch (changeover switch)
circuit inspection
2. Door mirror remote control switch (mirror switch) sys-
tem inspection
3. If the above systems are normal, replace the BCM.

operation).
1. Seat sliding sensor circuit inspection
2. Seat reclining sensor circuit inspection
3. Front end seat lifter sensor circuit inspection

ror control unit.

2. Telescopic sensor circuit inspection
3. Tilt sensor circuit inspection
4. Vehicle speed signal circuit inspection
5. If all the above systems are normal, replace the BCM

Seat or steering wheel memory does not work
1. Seat memory switch circuit inspection
2. If the above systems are normal, replace the BCM.

Only manual operation does not operate.
1. Seat sliding switch circuit inspection
2. Seat reclining switch circuit inspection
3. Front end seat lifter switch circuit inspection
4. Rear end seat lifter switch circuit inspection
5. Steering wheel telescoping switch circuit inspection
6. Steering wheel tilt switch circuit inspection
7. Door mirror remote control switch (mirror switch) cir-
cuit inspection
8. If all the above systems are normal, replace the driver
seat control unit for the seat system, the BCM for the
steering wheel system

Seat memory indicator lamps 1 and 2 do not illuminate.
1. Seat memory indicator lamp circuit inspection
2. If all the above systems are normal, replace the BCM.

AUTOMATIC DRIVE POSITIONER
The entry / exiting does not operated when door is
opened and closed.
(The entry / exiting operates with key switch)
1. Driver door switch circuit inspection
2. If all the above systems are normal, replace the BCM.

Auto driving position system self-diagnosis does not
work.(Without CONSULT-ll)
1. Detente switch circuit inspection
2. Key switch and key lock solenoid circuit inspection
3. Seat memory switch circuit inspection
4. Seat memory indicator lamp circuit inspection
5. Vehicle speed signal circuit inspection
6. If all the above systems are normal, retry the self-diag-
nosis. If the self-diagnosis are still disable, check the
driver seat control unit connector and terminals for loose-
ness and damage.

Lumber support motor does not operated.

Seat Sliding Motor Circuit Inspection

CHECK SEAT SLIDING MECHANISM
Check the following.
1.
Operation malfunction caused by sliding rail deformation or pinched harness or other foreign materials
2.
Operation malfunction caused by foreign materials adhered to the sliding motor or sliding rail connector
rod
3.
Operation malfunction and interference with other parts by poor installation.
OK or NG
OK
>> GO TO 2.
NG
>> Repair the malfunction part and check again.
2.
CHECK FUNCTION
With CONSULT-II
Check operation with “SEAT SLIDE” in ACTIVE TEST.
Without CONSULT-II
Perform the self-diagnosis. Refer to
SE-51, "ON BOARD DIAGNOSIS FOR AUTOMATIC DRIVE POSI-

OK or NG
OK
>> System is OK.
NG
>> GO TO 3.

CHECK HARNESS CONTINUITY
1.
Turn ignition switch OFF.
2.
Disconnect driver seat control unit connector and sliding motor connector.
3.
Check continuity between driver seat control unit connector
B142 terminals 1 (W), 8 (BR) and sliding motor connector B146
terminals 1 (W), 8 (BR).
4.
Check continuity between driver seat control unit connector
B142 terminals 1, 8 and body ground.
OK or NG
OK
>> GO TO 4.
NG
>> Repair or replace harness between driver seat control unit and sliding motor.

1.
Connect the driver seat control unit connector and sliding motor connector.
2.
Check voltage between the driver seat control unit connector.
OK or NG
OK
>> Replace sliding motor.
NG
>> Replace driver seat control unit.

1.
Operation malfunction caused by an interference with the center pillar or center console.
2.
Operation malfunction and interference with other parts by poor installation.
