Check Rear Power Seat Sliding Motor Circuit

WITH HEATED SEAT
1.
CHECK REAR POWER SEAT SLIDING MOTOR POWER SUPPLY
1.
Turn ignition switch OFF.
2.
Check voltage between rear power seat control unit connector
and ground.
OK or NG
OK
>> Rear power seat sliding motor circuit is OK.
NG
>> GO TO 2.
2.
CHECK REAR POWER SEAT SLIDING MOTOR HARNESS
1.
Disconnect rear power seat control unit connector and rear
power seat sliding motor connector.
2.
Check continuity between rear power seat control unit connector
B162 (LH), B362 (RH) terminal 4, 11 and rear power seat sliding
motor connector B164 (LH), B364 (RH) terminal 4, 11.
3.
Check continuity between rear power seat control unit connector
B162 (LH), B362 (RH) terminal 4, 11 and ground.
OK or NG
OK
>> Replace rear power seat sliding motor.
NG
>> Repair or replace harness between rear power seat control unit and rear power seat sliding motor.

and ground.
OK or NG

>> Rear power seat sliding motor circuit is OK.
NG
>> GO TO 2.
2.
CHECK REAR POWER SEAT SLIDING MOTOR HARNESS
1.
Disconnect rear power seat control unit connector and rear
power seat sliding motor connector.
2.
Check continuity between rear power seat control unit connector
B168 (LH), B368 (RH) terminal 4, 11 and rear power seat sliding
motor connector B164 (LH), B364 (RH) terminal 4, 11.
3.
Check continuity between rear power seat control unit connector
B168 (LH), B368 (RH) terminal 4, 11 and ground.
OK or NG
OK
>> Replace rear power seat sliding motor.
NG
>> Repair or replace harness between rear power seat control unit and rear power seat sliding motor.

CHECK REAR POWER SEAT SWITCH HARNESS
1.
Disconnect rear power seat control unit connector and rear
power seat switch connector.
2.
Check continuity between rear power seat control unit connector
B163 (LH), B363 (RH) terminal 18, 24 and rear power seat
switch connector D55 (LH), D75 (RH) terminal 7, 8.
3.
Check continuity between rear power seat control unit connector B163 (LH), B363 (RH) terminal 18, 24
and ground.
OK or NG
OK
>> GO TO 3.
NG
>> Repair or replace harness between rear power seat control unit and rear power seat switch.

CHECK REAR POWER SEAT SWITCH GROUND CIRCUIT
Check continuity between rear power seat switch connector D55
(LH), D75 (RH) terminal 2 and ground.
OK or NG
OK
>> Replace rear power seat control unit.
NG
>> Repair or replace harness between rear power seat
switch and ground.
WITHOUT HEATED SEAT
1.
CHECK REAR POWER SEAT SWITCH POWER SUPPLY
1.
Turn ignition switch OFF.
2.
Check voltage between rear power seat control unit connector
and ground.
OK or NG

>> Rear power seat switch circuit is OK.
