• Before performing the diagnosis in the following table, check “Work Flow”. Refer to

SEC-5, "Work Flow"

.

• Check that vehicle is under the condition shown in “Conditions of vehicle” before starting diagnosis, and

check each symptom.

Conditions of Vehicle (Operating Conditions)

• “ENGINE START BY I-KEY” in “WORK SUPPORT” is ON when setting on CONSULT-III.
• Intelligent Key is not inserted in key slot.
• One or more of Intelligent Keys with registered Intelligent Key ID is in the vehicle.

CHECK BCM POWER SUPPLY AND GROUND CIRCUIT

Check BCM power supply and ground circuit.
Refer to

SEC-119, "BCM : Diagnosis Procedure"

.

Is the inspection normal?

YES

>> GO TO 2.

NO

>> Repair or replace malfunctioning parts.

2.

CHECK IPDM E/R POWER SUPPLY AND GROUND CIRCUIT

Check IPDM E/R power supply and ground circuit.
Refer to

SEC-119, "IPDM E/R (INTELLIGENT POWER DISTRIBUTION MODULE ENGINE ROOM) : Diagno-

sis Procedure"

.

Is the inspection normal?

YES

>> GO TO 3.

NO

>> Repair or replace malfunctioning parts.

CHECK PUSH-BUTTON IGNITION SWITCH

Check push-button ignition switch.
Refer to

PCS-71, "Component Function Check"

.

Is the inspection normal?

YES

>> GO TO 4 (M/T models).
>> GO TO 5 (A/T models).

NO

>> Repair or replace malfunctioning parts.

4.

CHECK ASCD OR ICC CLUTCH SWITCH FOR M/T MODELS

Check ASCD or ICC clutch switch.
Refer to

SEC-124, "Component Function Check"

.

Is the inspection normal?

YES

>> GO TO 5.

NO

>> Repair or replace malfunctioning parts.

5.

CONFIRM THE OPERATION

Confirm the operation again.

Is the inspection normal?

YES
