Transmission Fluid Tempera-
ture Sensor A Circuit

TCM judges that the A/T fluid temperature is -40

°

C (-40

km/h (7 MPH) or more.

• Harness or connectors

(Sensor circuit is open.)

• Harness or connectors

(Sensor circuit is short.)

• A/T fluid temperature

sensor

TCM judges the following conditions while driving the ve-
hicle at 10 km/h (7 MPH) or more:
• The time required for A/T fluid temperature to rise by

1

°

C (1.8

°

F) exceeds 14 minutes when A/T fluid tem-

perature is -20

°

C (-4

°

F) or less.

• The time required for A/T fluid temperature to rise by

1

°

C (1.8

°

F) exceeds 7 minutes when A/T fluid tem-

perature is between -19

°

C (-2
