DISCRIPTION
During driving, the TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) receives the signal transmitted from transmitter
installed in each wheel, when the tire pressure becomes low. The BCM (Body Control Module) of this system
has pressure judgment and trouble diagnosis functions. When the tire pressure monitoring system detects low
inflation pressure or another unusual symptom, the warning lamps in the combination meter comes on.
TRANSMITTER
A sensor-transmitter (1) integrated with a valve is installed on a
wheel (2), and transmits a detected air pressure signal in the from of
a radio wave.
TIRE PRESSURE RECEIVER
The tire pressure receiver (1) receives the air pressure signal trans-
mitted by the transmitter in each wheel.
