Kia Sedona (2008 year). Instruction — part 188

COMPONENT LOCATION

Refer to DTC B1910.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

DDM is a node of CAN communication system which consists of IPM, FAM, RAM, ADM, IMS. Main
function of DDM is lock/unlock of door and window, adjusting position and fold/unfold of outside mirror,
power window is connected to DDM by three line (AUTO, UP, DOWN) and operated by DDM which receives
driver's signal.

DTC DESCRIPTION

The ECM sets DTC B2455 if there's short circuit in power window circuit harness.

DTC DETECTING CONDITION

DTC DETECTING CONDITION

MONITOR DTC STATUS

1. Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC).

2. Ignition "ON" & engine "OFF".

3. Select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs)" mode and monitor "DTC Status" parameter.

4. Is the DTC B2455 present?

YES

Go to TERMINAL AND CONNECTOR INSPECTION procedure.

NO

Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor's and/or ECM's connector or was repaired and
ECM memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending,
corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to
"VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR" procedure.
