Kia Sedona (2008 year). Instruction — part 189
MONITOR DTC STATUS
1. Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC).
2. Ignition "ON" & engine "OFF".
3. Select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs)" mode and monitor "DTC Status" parameter.
4. Is the DTC B2456 present?
YES
Go to TERMINAL AND CONNECTOR INSPECTION procedure.
NO
Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor's and/or ECM's connector or was repaired and
ECM memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending,
corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to
"VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR" procedure.
TERMINAL AND CONNECTOR INSPECTION
Refer to DTC B1954.
SIGNAL CIRCUIT INSPECTION
1. Check for open in harness
1. Ignition "OFF".
2. Measure resistance between terminal "11" of IMS and terminal "3" of power seat slide sensor.
3. Measure resistance between terminal "29" of IMS and terminal "3" of power seat recline sensor.
4. Measure resistance between terminal "28" of IMS and terminal "3" of front height sensor.
5. Measure resistance between terminal "10" of IMS and terminal "3" of rear height sensor.
