18. Pass each harness through floor carpet opening, toward vehicle floor, so that each harness is free from

floor carpet.

19. Remove floor carpet from the vehicle body.

INSTALLATION

Note the following items, and then install in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:

• Visually check clips for deformation and damage during installation. Replace with new ones if neces-

sary.

• Check in advance that clips are accurately aligned, and then install by pressing in.
• When installing drain hose

, match the rib portion

of A/C

unit

and mark

of drain hose.

CAUTION:

• When removing, always use a remover tool that is made of plastic to prevent damage to the parts.
• Never damage the body panel.

REMOVAL

1.

Remove second seat. Refer to

SE-54, "Removal and Installation"

.

2.

Remove third seat. Refer to

SE-70, "Removal and Installation"

(with third seat).

3.

Remove luggage side lower finisher (LH and RH). Refer to

INT-43, "LUGGAGE SIDE LOWER FINISHER

: Removal and Installation"

.

4.

Remove second seat belt outer anchor mounting anchor bolt.

5.

Remove third seat belt outer anchor mounting anchor bolt (with third seat).

6.

Remove rear floor carpet fixing clips

.

7.

Disengage magic fastener of rear floor carpet front end

.

Remove rear floor carpet.

INSTALLATION

Note the following items, and then install in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:

• Visually check clips for deformation and damage during installation. Replace with new ones if neces-

sary.

• Check in advance that clips are accurately aligned, and then install by pressing in.
• Tighten second seat belt outer anchor mounting anchor bolts and third seat belt outer anchor

mounting anchor bolts to specified torque. Refer to

SB-16, "Exploded View"

(second seat belt) or

SB-21, "Exploded View"

(third seat belt).
