• IPDM E/R reads the ON/OFF signals from the oil pressure switch and transmits the oil pressure switch sig-
nal to the BCM via CAN communication.
• BCM transmits oil pressure switch signal to the combination meter via CAN communication.
• The combination meter turns the oil pressure warning lamp ON (at the time of a reduction in hydraulic pres-
sure)/OFF (except at the time of a reduction in hydraulic pressure) according to the oil pressure switch signal
received via CAN communication.

FUEL GAUGE
The combination meter converts a resistance value of the fuel level sensor unit into voltage to show fuel
remaining quantity on the information display.
Refuel Control
• When the ignition switch is turned from OFF to ON or when all the following operating conditions are satis-
fied, fuel gauge indication speed becomes faster than usual.
• The combination meter judges refuel control, according to the signals below:

SHIFT POSITION INDICATOR
• TCM transmits a shift position signal to the combination meter via CAN communication.
• The combination meter displays a shift position on the vehicle information display when receiving a shift
position signal from TCM.
TRIP COMPUTER
Current Fuel Consumption
The combination meter calculates current fuel consumption based on the following signals, and the calculated
value is displayed on the information display.
