CHECK STEERING ANGLE SENSOR POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect fuse block (J/B) connector M44.
3. Check continuity between steering angle sensor connector M56 terminal 4 and Fuse block (J/B) connec-
tor M44 terminal 7P.
4. Check continuity between steering angle sensor connector M54 terminal 4 and ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
>> Perform trouble diagnosis for ignition power supply.
NO
>> Repair or replace malfunctioning components.
5.
CHECK STEERING ANGLE SENSOR GROUND CIRCUIT
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Check continuity between steering angle sensor connector M56 terminal 1 and ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
>> GO TO 6.
NO
>> Repair or replace malfunctioning components.
6.
CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION LINE
Check “STRG BRANCH LINE CIRCUIT”. Refer to

CONNECTOR INSPECTION
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect combination meter connector M76 and brake fluid level switch connector E63.
3. Check connectors and terminals for deformation, disconnection, looseness or damage.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
>> GO TO 3.
NO
>> Repair or replace as necessary.

CHECK BRAKE FLUID LEVEL SWITCH
Check brake fluid level switch. Refer to

CHECK BRAKE FLUID LEVEL SWITCH CIRCUIT
1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect brake fluid level switch harness connector.
3. Disconnect combination meter harness connector.
4. Check continuity between brake fluid level switch harness connector and combination meter harness con-
nector.
