Diagnosis Procedure

Regarding Wiring Diagram information, refer to

AV-135, "Wiring Diagram"

.

1.

CHECK AUX JACK HARNESS CONTINUITY

1. Turn ignition switch OFF.

2. Disconnect AV control unit connector M97 and AUX jack connector M215.

3. Check continuity between AV control unit connector M97 and AUX jack connector M215.

4. Check continuity between AV control unit connector M97 and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> Replace the AUX jack. Refer to

AV-229, "Removal and Installation"

.

NO

>> Repair or replace harness or connectors.

• Speaker circuit shorted to ground.

• Audio amplifier power supply and ground

circuits malfunction.

Only a certain speaker (front door speaker
LH, front door speaker RH, front tweeter
LH, front tweeter RH, rear door speaker LH,
rear door speaker RH, rear tweeter LH, rear
tweeter RH, subwoofer) does not output
sound.

• Poor connector connection of speaker.
• Sound signal circuit malfunction between

AV control unit and audio amplifier.
