Your car radio is subject to

phenomena which do not affect

domestic radio sets. Both AM (MW/

the signals and the way in which they

are transmitted.

On MW/LW, interference may be

noticed when passing under high

voltage power lines or bridges, or in

tunnels.

On FM, interference may be the

result of increasing distance from

the transmitter, deflection of the

signals by obstacles (mountains,

hills, buildings, etc.), or of being in

an area which is not covered by a

transmitter.

Presentation

Your 206 CC is fitted with a JBL audio

system, designed specifically for the

vehicle's passenger compartment.

At the heart of the system, a 240

Watt multifunction amplifier (1),

incorporated in the subwoofer in

the boot, independently controls 8

high acoustic definition speakers

and the subwoofer.

This system makes it possible to

obtain optimum reproduction and

distribution of the sound in the

vehicle, in the two configurations

of the passenger compartment:

Coupé and Cabriolet.

The speakers are located:

- in the front door pillars: two

Tweeters (2) for reproduction of

the treble (high frequencies).

- in the front doors: two

Woofers (3)

for reproduction of the bass (low

frequencies).

- in the rear panels: two

Tweeters (4)

fitted in two

Woofers (5) for a bal-

ance of frequencies and sound

which fills the passenger compart-

ment.

- in the boot: one

Subwoofer (6)

incorporating two special woofers

for reproduction of the bass and ex-

treme bass (very low frequencies)

throughout the passenger compart-

ment.

You will appreciate the dynamics

and depth of the JBL system,

noticing that the sound fills the

vehicle perfectly.

AUDIO SYSTEM

Adjustment in CD and Radio

mode

the audio equipment.

No additional adjustment is required.
