(5) Verify sunroof operation and alignment (Refer
to 23 - BODY/SUNROOF/GLASS PANEL - ADJUST-
MENTS).
REAR HOUSING TUBE
(1) Connect the new drain tube to the sunroof
housing and test drainage (Fig. 13).
(2) Install headliner (Refer to 23 - BODY/INTERI-
OR/HEADLINER - INSTALLATION).
(3) Install sunroof opening trim lace (Refer to 23 -
BODY/SUNROOF/OPENING TRIM LACE - INSTAL-
LATION).
(4) Connect the control switch wire connector and
install control switch.
(5) Verify sunroof operation and alignment (Refer
to 23 - BODY/SUNROOF/GLASS PANEL - ADJUST-
MENTS).

A-PILLAR WEATHERSTRIP

REMOVAL - PT-27 ONLY
(1) Remove header and A-piller weatherstrip as
necessary. (Refer to 23 - BODY/WEATHERSTRIP/
SEALS/HEADER/HEADER
AND
A-PILLAR
WEATHERSTRIP - REMOVAL).
(2) Remove screws attaching A-pillar weatherstrip
retainer to side of windshield surround frame.
(3) Remove A-pillar weatherstrip retainer from
vehicle.
INSTALLATION - PT-27 ONLY
(1) Place A-pillar weatherstrip retainer into posi-
tion (Fig. 1).
(2) Install screws attaching A-pillar weatherstrip
retainer to side of windshield surround frame.
(3) Install header and A-piller weatherstrip. (Refer
to 23 - BODY/WEATHERSTRIP/SEALS/HEADER/
HEADER
AND
A-PILLAR
WEATHERSTRIP

DECK LID OPENING

REMOVAL - PT-27 ONLY
(1) Open decklid.
(2) Remove decklid opening weatherstrip, pull out-
ward on the weatherstrip. (Fig. 2)
(3) Remove weatherstrip from vehicle.
INSTALLATION - PT-27 ONLY
(1) Starting at bottom center, press decklid open-
ing weatherstrip into position (Fig. 2).
(2) Open and close decklid and check for interfer-
ence.

REMOVAL
(1) Open front/rear door.
(2) Remove door opening sill plate.
(3) Pull body mounted weatherstrip from fence
around door opening (Fig. 3).
REMOVAL - PT-27 ONLY
(1) Remove door sill scuff plate. (Refer to 23 -
BODY/INTERIOR/DOOR SILL TRIM - REMOVAL).
(2) Remove four push pin fasteners at the B-pillar
end the weatherstrip (Fig. 4).
(3) Pull weatherstrip from vehicle.
INSTALLATION
INSTALLATION
(1) Position weatherstrip at the B-pillar upper cor-
ner (Fig. 3).
(2) Engage front/rear weatherstrip on the fence at
upper B-pillar and work down the B-pillar.
(3) Engage weatherstrip along the header and
down the A-pillar/C-pillar.
(4) Engage weatherstrip along the sill. There may
be slack material work it to the front of the opening.
(5) Verify weatherstrip sealing.
INSTALLATION - PT-27 ONLY
(1) Place weatherstrip into position (Fig. 4).
(2) Ensure weatherstrip is set in place.
(3) Install four push pin fasteners at the B-pillar
end the weatherstrip.
(4) Install door sill scuff plate. (Refer to 23 -
BODY/INTERIOR/DOOR SILL TRIM - INSTALLA-
TION).

REMOVAL
(1) Open the front/rear door.
(2) Using a wide blade flat tool, unseat the push
pin at the base of the “A” pillar.
(3) Pull the weatherstrip off the vehicle.
INSTALLATION
(1) Clean off any remain butyl residue on the body.
(2) Push seal into position under the quarter win-
dow glass and along the door opening.
(3) Locate the push pins at the base of the “A” pil-
lar and push into place.
(4) Install the remainder of the seal.
