(11) Remove the headliner extrusion profile from

the backlite frame (Fig. 33).

(12) Remove five screws from the edge bow strip

(Fig. 34).

(13) The headliner is now loose. Store it in a clean

place.

(14) Detach the hook and loop strips from the

framework (Fig. 35).

(15) Detach the rear window defogger wire connec-

tors from the rear window defogger pigtails (1 per
side) and pull them through the wire slings.

(16) Open the C-Post seal and drill the four rivets

out.

(17) The C-Post seal gets loose together with the

seal retainer and the canopy cover itself.

INSTALLATION

(1) Place top cover into position (Fig. 36).
(2) Position C-Post seal with the seal retainer and

the canopy cover itself (Fig. 37).

(3) Open the C-Post seal and install the 4 rivets

(using new rivets).

(4) Feed the rear window defogger wire connectors

from the rear window defogger pigtails (1 per side)
and pull them through the wire slings into position.

(5) Attach the hook and loop strips to the frame-

work (Fig. 38).

(6) Set headliner into position to be installed at

the same time as the top cover.

(7) Install five screws from the edge bow strip (Fig.

39).

(8) Install the headliner extrusion profile to the

backlite frame (Fig. 40).

(9) Install screws to the floating bow attaching the

headliner.

(10) Install C-Post flaps to the C-Post stamping

(two expanding two rivets per side).

(11) Install

the

headliner

attachments

(elastic

straps) to the folding top frame.

(12) Install five screws to each bow strip (Fig. 41).
(13) Install nine screws attaching headliner to the

front header.

(14) Position the canopy to the B-Bow (Fig. 42)

and (Fig. 43).
