Slide knob cover (1) below selector lever downward.
CAUTION:
Be careful not to damage knob cover.
4.
Pull lock pin (2) out of selector lever knob (3).
5.
Remove selector lever knob and knob cover.
6.
Remove center console assembly. Refer to
.
7.
Move selector lever to “P” position.
8.
Remove control cable (1) from CVT shift selector assembly.
Refer to
9.
Remove CVT shift selector assembly (2).
10. Remove CVT shift selector connector (A) using a flat-bladed
screwdriver (B).
11. Remove shift lock unit from CVT shift selector assembly.
INSTALLATION
Note the following, and install in the reverse order of removal.
When installing control cable (1) to CVT shift selector assembly (2),
check that control cable is fully pressed in with the ribbed (A) surface
facing upward.
Inspection and Adjustment

Adjust the CVT positions after installing CVT shift selector. Refer to

CAUTION:
Make sure that parking brake is applied before removal/installation.

Remove control cable from CVT shift selector assembly. Refer to

Remove nut (

6.
Remove control cable (1) from manual lever (A).
7.
Remove lock plate (2) from control cable.

Remove control cable from bracket (3).

Remove front foot duct RH. Refer to

10. Remove the control cable (1) from the vehicle.
INSTALLATION
Note the following, and install in the reverse order of removal.
When installing control cable (1) to CVT shift selector assembly (2),
check that control cable is fully pressed in with the ribbed (A) surface
facing upward.
