HEADLAMP (LO) CIRCUIT
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
>> GO TO 3.
NO
>> GO TO 8.

CHECK HEADLAMP LO (RH) OPEN CIRCUIT -1
1.
Turn ignition switch OFF.
2.
Disconnect IPDM E/R connector.
3.
Check continuity between IPDM E/R harness connector and daytime running light relay 1 harness con-
nector.
4.
Check continuity between daytime running light relay 1 harness connector and ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
>> GO TO 4.
NO
>> Repair or replace harness.
4.
CHECK HEADLAMP LO (RH) OPEN CIRCUIT-2
1.
Disconnect headlamp connector.
2.
Check continuity between daytime running light relay 1 harness connector and headlamp harness con-
nector.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
>> GO TO 5.
NO
>> Repair or replace harness.
5.
CHECK DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT RELAY 1

CONSULT ACTIVE TEST
1.
Turn ignition switch OFF.
2.
Disconnect headlamp LH connector.
3.
Turn ignition switch ON.
4.
Select “EXTERNAL LAMPS” of IPDM E/R active test item.

Check continuity between IPDM E/R harness connector and headlamp LH harness connector.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
>> Replace headlamp bulb LH.
NO
>> Repair or replace harness.

CHECK HEADLAMP LO (RH) FUSE
1.
Turn ignition switch OFF.
2.
Check that the following fuses are not fusing.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
>> Replace IPDM E/R.
NO
>> GO TO 9.

CHECK HEADLAMP LO (RH) SHORT CIRCUIT- 1
1.
Disconnect IPDM E/R connector.
2.
Check continuity between IPDM E/R harness connector and ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
>> GO TO 10.
NO
>> Repair or replace harness. And then replace the fuse.

CHECK DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT RELAY 1

Select “EXTERNAL LAMPS” of IPDM E/R active test item.

With operating the test items, check voltage between IPDM E/R harness connector and ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
>> GO TO 3.
NO
>> Replace IPDM E/R.

CHECK TAIL LAMP OPEN CIRCUIT
1.
Turn ignition switch OFF.
2.
Disconnect IPDM E/R connector and rear combination lamp connector.
3.
Check continuity between IPDM E/R harness connector and rear combination lamp harness connector.

With operating the lighting switch, check that the license plate lamp is turned ON.

YES

Check the applicable lamp bulb.

YES

Disconnect IPDM E/R connector and back door opener switch connector.
3.

Select “OPTISEN (DTCT)” of BCM (HEADLAMP) data monitor item.

Turn lighting switch AUTO.
4.
With the optical sensor illuminating, check the monitor status.
*: Illuminates the optical sensor. The value may be less than the standard value if brightness is weak.
