CHECK FRONT FOG LAMP SHORT CIRCUIT
1.
Disconnect front fog connector and IPDM E/R connector.
2.
Check continuity between IPDM E/R harness connector and ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
>> Replace fuse. (Replace IPDM E/R if the fuse is fusing again.)
NO
>> Repair or replace harness. And then replace the fuse.
3.
CHECK FRONT FOG LAMP BULB
Check the applicable lamp bulb.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
>> GO TO 4.
NO
>> Replace bulb.
4.
CHECK FRONT FOG LAMP OUTPUT VOLTAGE
CONSULT ACTIVE TEST
1.
Disconnect front fog lamp connector.
2.
Turn ignition switch ON.
3.
Select “EXTERNAL LAMPS” of IPDM E/R active test item.
4.
With operating the test items, check the voltage between IPDM E/R harness connector and ground.

AUTO LIGHT SYSTEM
The headlamp may not be turned ON/OFF immediately after passing dark area or bright area (short tunnel,
sky bridge, shadowed area etc.) while using the auto light system. This causes the control difference. This is
normal.
