The arrows in the figure show the application points of the suitable

multi-purpose grease, if needed.

Installation

1. Install the power window motor to the front door glass regulator (if necessary). Refer to

GW-18, "Removal

and Installation"

.

2. Install the regulator assembly into the door and secure regulator assembly with the nuts and bolt.

3. Install the front door glass into the door and align with the front door glass regulator, then install the front

door regulator to glass bolts.

4. Raise the front door glass to the top position.

CAUTION:

Do not operate the front door glass automatically to raise the front door glass to the top.

5. Reposition the vapor barrier.
6. Install the front door finisher. Refer to

INT-15, "Removal and Installation"

.

If any of the following work has been done, reset the power window motor limit switch.

• Removal and installation of the front door glass regulator.

• Removal and installation of the power window motor from the regulator.

• Installation of a new front door glass.

• Installation of a new front door glass rear run channel.

Front door glass regulator nuts and bolts : 7.5 N·m (0.77 kg-m, 66 in-lb)

Front door regulator to glass bolts

: 6.1 N·m (0.62 kg-m, 54 in-lb)

Removal and Installation

REMOVAL

1. Remove front door glass regulator. Refer to

GW-14, "Removal and Installation"

.

2. Remove screws (A) and front power window motor (1) from front

door glass regulator (2).

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

Removal

1. Remove the rear door finisher. Refer to

INT-17, "Removal and Installation"

.

2. Position aside the rear door vapor barrier (1).

NOTE:

LH rear door panel shown; RH similar.

3. Temporarily reconnect the rear power window switch.

4. Operate the rear power window switch to raise/lower the rear

door glass until the rear door regulator to glass bolts (A) can be

seen and remove.

5. Remove rear door inside seal.
6. Remove the rear door glass rear run channel.
7. Remove the rear door regulator to glass bolts and rear door

glass (1).

Installation

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

Fitting Inspection

• Check that the rear door glass is securely fit into the rear door glass run channel.

• Lower the rear door glass slightly [approximately 10 to 20 mm (0.39 to 0.79 in)], and check that the clear-

ance to the sash is parallel. If the clearance between the rear door glass and sash is not parallel, loosen the

rear door regulator to glass bolts, guide rail bolts, and rear door glass and carrier plate bolts to correct the

rear door glass position.

Removal

1. Remove the rear door finisher. Refer to

INT-17, "Removal and Installation"

.

2. Position aside the vapor barrier (1).

3. Temporarily reconnect the rear power window switch.
