CHECK UNLOCK SENSOR GROUND CIRCUIT

Check continuity between front door lock assembly (driver side) (unlock sensor) harness connector and
ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> GO TO 4.

NO

>> Repair or replace harness.

4.

CHECK UNLOCK SENSOR

Refer to

DLK-79, "Component Inspection"

.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> GO TO 5.

NO

>> Replace front door lock assembly (driver side). Refer to

DLK-214, "TRUNK LID ASSEMBLY :

Removal and Installation"

CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT

Refer to

GI-35, "Intermittent Incident"

Turn ignition switch OFF.

Disconnect front door lock assembly (driver side) (unlock sensor).

3.

Check front door lock assembly (driver side) (unlock sensor) terminals.

>> Replace front door lock assembly (driver side). Refer to

Integrated in front outside handle (LH, RH) and installed in rear bumper.

CHECK OUTSIDE KEY ANTENNA FUNCTION

Check that Intelligent Key is in each outside key antenna detection range.

Does door lock/unlock when each request switch is pressed?

YES

>> Outside key antenna is OK.

NO

Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK OUTSIDE KEY ANTENNA INPUT SIGNAL 1

1.

Turn ignition switch OFF.

2.

Check signal between BCM harness connector and ground with oscilloscope.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> Replace BCM. Refer to

BCS-78, "Removal and Installation"

NO

>> GO TO 2.

2.

CHECK OUTSIDE KEY ANTENNA CIRCUIT

1.

Disconnect BCM connector and malfunctioning outside key antenna connector.

2.

Check continuity between BCM harness connector and outside key antenna harness connector.

Replace malfunctioning outside key antenna. Refer to

Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK FUSE

1.

Turn ignition switch OFF.

2.

Check 10 A fuse, [No.6, located in fuse block (J/B)].

Is fuse fusing?

YES

>> Replace the blown fuse after repairing the affected circuit if a fuse is blown.

NO

>> GO TO 2.

2.

CHECK INTELLIGENT KEY WARNING BUZZER POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT

1.

Disconnect Intelligent Key warning buzzer connector.

2.

Check voltage between Intelligent Key warning buzzer harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> GO TO 3.

NO

>> Repair or replace Intelligent Key warning buzzer power supply circuit.

3.

CHECK INTELLIGENT KEY WARNING BUZZER CIRCUIT

1.

Disconnect BCM connector.

2.

Check continuity between BCM harness connector and Intelligent Key warning buzzer harness connector.

3.

Check continuity between BCM harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> GO TO 4.

NO

>> Repair or replace harness.
