>> Rear ventilation seat switch circuit is OK.
NO-1
>> LO or HI mode is NG: GO TO 2.
NO-2
>> LO and HI modes are NG: GO TO 3.

CHECK REAR VENTILATION SEAT SWITCH CIRCUIT
1.
Turn ignition switch OFF.
2.
Disconnect rear ventilation seat switch connector and rear ventilation seat control unit connector.
3.
Check continuity between rear ventilation seat switch harness connector and rear ventilation seat control
unit harness connector.
4.
Check continuity between rear ventilation seat switch harness connector and ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
>> GO TO 3.
NO
>> Repair or replace harness.
3.
CHECK REAR VENTILATION SEAT SWITCH
Check rear ventilation seat switch.
Refer to
SE-22, "REAR SEAT : Component Inspection"
Is the inspection result normal?
YES-1 >> LO or HI mode is NG: GO TO 5.
YES-2 >> LO and HI modes are NG: GO TO 4.
NO
>> Replace rear ventilation seat switch. Refer to
SE-107, "REAR SEAT : Removal and Installation"
4.
CHECK REAR VENTILATION SEAT SWITCH GROUND CIRCUIT
Check continuity rear ventilation seat switch harness connector and ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
>> GO TO 6.
NO
>> Repair or replace harness.
5.
CHECK REAR VENTILATION SEAT CONTROL UNIT OUTPUT SIGNAL
1.
Connect rear ventilation seat control unit connector.
2.
Turn ignition switch ON.
3.
Check voltage between rear ventilation seat control unit harness connector and ground.

CHECK FUNCTION
When turning the front ventilation switch to the LO and HI mode position, check that the front ventilation motor
is operated in each specific mode.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
>> Front ventilation motor function is OK.
NO

SE-23, "FRONT SEAT : Diagnosis Procedure"

CHECK FRONT VENTILATION MOTOR POWER SUPPLY
1.
Turn ignition switch ON.
2.
Check voltage between front ventilation motor harness connector and ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
>> GO TO 3.
NO
>> GO TO 2.
2.
CHECK FRONT VENTILATION MOTOR POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT
1.
Turn ignition switch OFF.
2.
Disconnect front ventilation motor connector and front ventilation seat control unit connector.
3.
Check continuity between front ventilation motor harness connector and front ventilation seat control unit
harness connector.
4.
Check continuity between front ventilation motor harness connector and ground.
Is the inspection result normal?

Is the inspection result normal?
YES
>> GO TO 5.
NO

4.
CHECK FRONT VENTILATION MOTOR SPEED CONTROL SIGNAL CIRCUIT
1.
Turn ignition switch OFF.
2.
Disconnect front ventilation motor connector and front ventilation seat control unit connector.
3.
Check continuity between front ventilation motor harness connector and front ventilation seat control unit
harness connector.
4.
Check continuity between front ventilation motor harness connector and ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
>> Replace front ventilation seat control unit. Refer to
SE-93, "Disassembly and Assembly"
.
NO
>> Repair or replace harness.
5.
CHECK FRONT VENTILATION MOTOR GROUND CIRCUIT
1.
Turn ignition switch OFF.
2.
Disconnect front ventilation motor connector and front ventilation seat control unit connector.
3.
Check continuity between front ventilation motor harness connector and front ventilation seat control unit
harness connector.
4.
Check continuity between front ventilation motor harness connector and ground.
