contaminated by front glass tint-
ing, film, water repellent coating,
damage on glass, foreign matter
(sticker, insect, etc.)

䳜 The radar or camera or camera

lens is damaged.

䳜 If the headlights of the vehicle are

not used at night or in the tunnel
section, or the light is too weak.

䳜 If street light or the light of the

vehicle coming from the opposite
is reflected or when sunlight is
reflected by the water on the
road surface.

䳜 If the windshield has moisture on

its surface or if windshield
freezes.

䳜 Driving in the fog.
䳜 When objects are out of the sens-

ing range of the sensor or radar.

䳜 When the cyclist in front is riding

intersected with the driving direc-
tion.

䳜 When there is any other electro-

magnetic interference.

䳜 When the construction area, rail

or other metal object is near the
pedestrian.

䳜 If the bicycle material is not

reflected well on the radar.

WARNING

䳜 Cancel the FCA in the User Set-

tings on the LCD display, before
towing another vehicle. While
towing, the brake application may
adversely affect your vehicle
safety.

䳜 Exercise extreme caution to the

vehicle in front, when it has heavy
loading extended rearward, or
when it has higher ground clear-
ance.

䳜 The FCA system is designed to

detect and monitor the vehicle
ahead or detect a pedestrian in
the roadway through radar sig-
nals and camera recognition. It is
not designed to detect bicycles,
motorcycles, or smaller wheeled
objects such as luggage bags,
shopping carts, or strollers.

䳜 Never try to test the operation of

the FCA system. Doing so may
cause severe injury or death.

䳜 When replacing or reinstalling the

windshield, front bumper or
radar/camera after removal, take
your vehicle to an authorized Kia
dealer and have the system
checked.

NOTICE

In some instances, the FCA system
may be canceled when subjected to
electromagnetic interference.
