2. Rotate the switch counterclockwise.

3. Remove the switch from the bracket.

4. Remove the switch from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

1. Position the switch near the bracket.

2. Ensure the switch key-way is properly indexed to the plastic retainer.

3. Install and adjust the switch. Refer to Stop Lamp Switch Adjustment.

4. Connect the stop lamp switch electrical connectors (1).

5. Check the switch for proper operation.

Front Side Door Jamb Switch Replacement

Fastener Tightening Specifications: Refer to Fastener Tightening
Specifications.Preliminary Procedure: Remove the left knee bolster panel. Refer to
Driver Knee Bolster Replacement (Left Hand Drive) or Driver Knee Bolster
Replacement (Right Hand Drive) .

Screw, Headlamp Switch

Tighten: 2 N.m (18 lb in)

Tip: Disconnect the electrical connector.
