6. INSPECT FRONT NO. 4 SPEAKER

a. Disconnect the K14 speaker connector.

b. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance

TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION

NG: REPLACE FRONT NO. 4 SPEAKER (see REMOVAL )

OK: REPLACE BOX SPEAKER (see REMOVAL )

7. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER - SPEAKER)

a. Disconnect the K16 amplifier connector.

b. Disconnect the K10 and K12 speaker connectors.

c. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

1.5 to 2.1 ohms

8. INSPECT FRONT NO. 3 SPEAKER LH

a. Disconnect the N1 speaker connector.

K16-8 (FL+) - Body ground

10 kohms or higher

K16-7(FL-) - Body ground

K16-2(FR+) - Body ground

K16-6(FR-) - Body ground

K16-3(RL+) - Body ground

K10-1 (+) - Body ground

K10-2(-)- Body ground

K12-1(+) - Body ground

9. INSPECT FRONT NO. 3 SPEAKER RH

a. Disconnect the M1 speaker connector.

b. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance

NG: REPLACE FRONT NO. 3 SPEAKER RH (see REMOVAL )

a. Disconnect the K12 speaker connector.

b. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

NG: REPLACE FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER LH (see REMOVAL )

11. INSPECT FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER RH

a. Disconnect the K10 speaker connector.

b. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
