b. Detach the 14 clips and remove the rear bumper pad.

HINT:

Detach the clips from the backside of the rear bumper.

5. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PLATE LH

a. Detach the 4 clips and remove the rear bumper plate.

HINT:

Detach the clips from the backside of the rear bumper.

6. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PLATE RH

HINT:

Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

7. REMOVE REAR BUMPER BAR

a. w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System:

Disconnect the connectors and clamps shown in the illustration.

b. Remove the 4 bolts and 2 bumper bar reinforcements.

c. Remove the 6 bolts and bumper bar.

Remove the No. 3 wire frame.

1. Disconnect the connector.

2. Detach the 2 clamps.

3. Remove the 2 bolts and wire frame.

b. for 4 Pin and 7 Pin Type:

Remove the No. 3 wire frame.

1. Disconnect the connector.

2. Detach the 2 clamps.

3. Remove the 2 bolts and wire frame.

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL NO. 3 WIRE FRAME (w/ Trailer Towing System)

a. for 4 Pin Type:

Install the No. 3 wire frame.

1. Install the wire frame with the 2 bolts.

Torque: 8.3 N*m (85 kgf*cm, 73 in.*lbf)

2. Attach the 2 clamps.

3. Connect the connector.

b. for 4 Pin and 7 Pin Type:

Install the No. 3 wire frame.
