3. CHECK NAVIGATION RECEIVER (MACC VOLTAGE)
a. Reconnect the K7 receiver connector.

b. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
K7-17 (MACC) -Body ground
Always
10 kohms or higher
K7-19 (MIC+) - Body ground

4. REPLACE MICROPHONE AMPLIFIER WITH ANOTHER AND CHECK
a. Replace the microphone amplifier with a normal one (see REMOVAL ).
b. Check if the same problem occurs again.
OK: Malfunction disappears
NG: REPLACE ROOF CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
OK: END (MICROPHONE AMPLIFIER IS FAULTY)
STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER COMMUNICATION ERROR
INSPECTION PROCEDURE
1. IDENTIFY COMPONENT SHOWN BY SUB-CODE
a. Enter the diagnostic mode.
b. Press the "LAN Mon" switch to change to "LAN Monitor" mode.
c. Identify the component shown by the sub-code.
HINT:
"140 (navigation receiver)" is the component shown by the sub-code in the example shown in
the illustration.
The sub-code will be indicated by its physical address.

a. Inspect the power source circuit of the component shown by the sub-code.

3. INSPECT NAVIGATION RECEIVER
a. Disconnect the K18 receiver connector.

b. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
