For details of the connectors, refer to "TERMINALS OF ECU" .
a. Referring to the AVC-LAN wiring diagram below, check the AVC-LAN circuit between the stereo
component amplifier and the component shown by the sub-code.
1. Disconnect all connectors between the stereo component amplifier and the component shown
by sub-code.
2. Check for an open or short in the AVC-LAN circuit between the stereo component amplifier
and the component shown by the sub-code.
OK: There is no open or short circuit.

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to Next Step
5. REPLACE COMPONENT SHOWN BY SUB-CODE
a. Replace the component shown by the sub-code with a normal one and check if the same problem
occurs again.
OK: Same problem does not occur.
NG: REPLACE STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER (See REMOVAL )
OK: END
NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT
DESCRIPTION
The circuit provides power to the navigation receiver.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
1. INSPECT FUSE (RAD NO. 1, ACC)
a. Disconnect the ACC fuse from the main body ECU.
b. Disconnect the RAD NO. 1 fuse from the engine room junction block.
c. Measure the resistance of the fuses.
Standard resistance
FUSE (RAD NO. 1, ACC) TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION
NG: REPLACE FUSE
OK: Go to Next Step
2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION RECEIVER - BATTERY AND BODY
GROUND)
a. Disconnect the K18 receiver connector.
b. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

c. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

a. Enter the diagnostic mode.
b. Press the "LAN Mon" switch to change to "LAN Monitor" mode.
c. Identify the component shown by the sub-code.
HINT:
"140 (navigation receiver)" is the component shown by the sub-code in the example shown in
the illustration.

a. Inspect the power source circuit of the component shown by the sub-code.
