DESCRIPTION
The ultrasonic sensor sends and receives ultrasonic waves. Based on the received wave, the sensor calculates
the approximate distance value between the vehicle and the obstacle, and sends the distance value as a signal to
the clearance warning ECU.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
1. REPLACE BACK NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RH
a. Replace the ultrasonic sensor with a normally functioning sensor (see REMOVAL ).
2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BACK SENSOR RH - REAR CORNER SENSOR RH)
a. Disconnect the S3 and S2 sensor connectors.
b. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

a. Disconnect the C1 and B1 sensor connectors.
b. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
