3. INSPECT SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE SR
a. Remove shift solenoid valve SR.
b. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION TABLE
c. Connect the battery's positive (+) lead to the terminal of the solenoid valve connector, and the
negative (-) lead to the solenoid valve body. Then check that the valve moves and makes an
operating noise.
OK: Valve moves and makes an operating noise.

MONITOR DESCRIPTION
When an open or short in the shift solenoid valve SLT circuit is detected, the ECM interprets this as a fault. The
ECM will turn on the MIL and store the DTC.

1. INSPECT NO. 1 TRANSMISSION WIRE (SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE SLT)
a. Disconnect the D63 No. 1 transmission wire connector.
b. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.
