3. READ VALUE OF TECHSTREAM (MIRROR RETRACT SWITCH)
a. Check the DATA LIST for proper functioning of the mirror retract switch.

4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (OUTER MIRROR CONTROL ECU - BATTERY,
BODY GROUND)
a. Disconnect the N7 ECU connector.
b. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

OK: Go to Next Step
5. CHECK OUTER MIRROR CONTROL ECU (OPERATION)
a. Temporarily replace the outer mirror control ECU with a normal one. (see DISASSEMBLY )
b. Check that the outer rear view mirror operates normally.
OK: Outer rear view mirror operates normally.
NG: REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU

6. INSPECT OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR LH
a. Remove the mirror LH (see REMOVAL ).
b. For each mirror position: Disconnect the battery, set the mirror position by hand, connect the
battery, and check the retractable mirror's movement.

NOTE:
Disconnect and reconnect the battery once between each mirror
position check.
The mirror position cannot be changed manually when the
battery is connected. To change the mirror position manually,
the battery must be disconnected first.
