NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK: REPLACE OUTER MIRROR CONTROL ECU (See DISASSEMBLY )

5. INSPECT OUTER MIRROR SWITCH ASSEMBLY

a. Remove the switch (see REMOVAL ).

b. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

NG: REPLACE OUTER MIRROR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (see REMOVAL )

OK: Go to Next Step

6. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (OUTER MIRROR SWITCH - MAIN BODY ECU)

a. Disconnect the J4 ECU connector.

b. Disconnect the L6 switch connector.

c. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

This circuit detects the conditions of the mirror retract switch.

The outer mirror switch sends information about the operating condition of the mirror retract switch (switch
