Standard voltage:

11 to 14 V

If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding.

OPERATION CHECK

1. CHECK ILLUMINATED ENTRY SYSTEM OPERATION

(a) The illuminated entry system controls the following lights:

Transponder key light

Foot light

(b) Check the illuminated entry system with the ignition switch OFF.

Leave the doors unlocked for 15 seconds.

Turn the ignition switch ACC or ON.

Lock all the doors.

(c) Check the illuminated entry system with the ignition switch ACC or ON.

(1) Check that the lights stay lit after turning the ignition switch OFF with all the doors closed and the

ignition switch ACC or ON. Then check that the lights fade out under the following conditions:

Leave the doors unlocked for 15 seconds.

Turn the ignition switch ACC or ON.

Lock all the doors.

2. CHECK BATTERY SAVER OPERATION

(a) Basic function inspection

(1) Turn the ignition switch OFF and close all the doors.

(2) Open the driver side door to turn the room light on, and leave the door open. Check that the light turns

off after about 20 minutes.

(3) After the room light turns off, close the driver's door.

(4) Open any door to turn the room light on, and then open another door. Check that the room light turns

off within 20 minutes after opening the doors.

(b) Interior light auto cut function inspection
