1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH
2. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH
3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH
4. REMOVE LOWER CENTER INSTRUMENT COVER (for Column Shift Type)
5. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
6. REMOVE BACK DOOR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY
(a) Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the back
door power window regulator switch assembly.

1. INSPECT BACK DOOR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR
SWITCH ASSEMBLY
(a) Check the resistance.
(1) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table
below.
Standard Resistance:

If the result is not as specified, replace the back door power
window regulator switch assembly.

(b) Check that the LED illuminates.
(1) Apply battery voltage to the back door power window
regulator switch assembly and check that the LED
illuminates.
OK:
MEASUREMENT CONDITION
SPECIFIED CONDITION
Battery positive (+) → 8 (ILL+)
Battery negative (-) → 1 (ILL-)
LED illuminates
If the result is not as specified, replace the back door power
window regulator switch assembly.

2. INSPECT BACK DOOR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR
SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for Power Slide Type)
(a) Check the resistance.
(1) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table
below.
Standard Resistance:

If the result is not as specified, replace the back door power
window regulator switch assembly.
(b) Check that the LED illuminates.
(1) Apply battery voltage to the back door power window
regulator switch assembly and check that the LED
illuminates.

Battery positive (+) → 8 (ILL+)
Battery negative (-) → 1 (ILL-)
