Operate the cellular phone outside the vehicle.

Does the cellular phone transmit the voice during a
telephone conversation outside of the vehicle?
Yes
GO to C2

No
REFER to the cellular phone Owner's Guide.
C2: CHECK CIRCUIT VMM13H (BN) AND CIRCUIT VMM13D (BN/RD) FOR OPEN
Disconnect PSE Module C2MM01-A.

Disconnect Microphone C2MN02.

Measure the resistance between the PSE module
C2MM01-A pin 3, circuit VMM13H (BN), harness side
and the microphone C2MN02 pin 1, circuit VMM13D
(BN/RD), harness side.

Is the resistance less than 1 ohm?
Yes
GO to C3
.
No
REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal
operation.
C3: CHECK CIRCUIT RMM13F (BU) AND CIRCUIT DME37F (BU/RD) FOR OPEN
Measure the resistance between the PSE module
C2MM01-A pin 4, circuit RMM13F (BU), harness side
and the microphone C2MN02 pin 2, circuit DME37F
(BU/RD), harness side.

Is the resistance less than 1 ohm?
Yes
INSTALL a new microphone.
REFER to:
Microphone

TEST the system for normal operation.
No
REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal
operation. If the concern persists, INSTALL a new
PSE module.

TEST the system for normal operation.

Measure the resistance between the PSE module
C2MM01-A pin 1, circuit VMM08A (WH/VT), harness
side and the audio unit C2ME03-B pin 1, circuit
VMM08A (WH/VT), harness side.

Is the resistance less than 1 ohm?
Yes
GO to D3
.
No
REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal
operation.
D3: CHECK CIRCUIT RMM08A (YE/BU) FOR OPEN
Measure the resistance between the PSE module
C2MM01-A pin 2, circuit RMM08A (YE/BU), harness
side and the audio unit C2ME03-B pin 7, circuit
RMM08A (YE/BU), harness side.

Is the resistance less than 1 ohm?
Yes
INSTALL a new PSE module.
REFER to:

TEST the system for normal operation.
No
REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal
operation. If the concern persists,

C2MM01-B pin 45, circuit VMM21A (GY/OG), harness
side and the handset holder C2MM17-A pin 4, circuit
VMM21B (GY/OG), harness side.

Is the resistance less than 1 ohm?
Yes
GO to E3

No
REPAIR the circuit(s) as necessary. TEST the system
for normal operation.
E3: CHECK CIRCUIT VMM02A (GY/VT) TO CIRCUIT VMM02B (GY/VT) FOR OPEN
Measure the resistance between the PSE module
C2MM01-B pin 47, circuit VMM02A (GY/VT), harness
side and the handset holder C2MM17-A pin 1, circuit
VMM02B (GY/VT), harness side.

Is the resistance less than 1 ohm?
Yes
GO to E4
.
No
REPAIR the circuit(s) as necessary. TEST the system
for normal operation.
E4: CHECK CIRCUIT RMM02A (BU/WH) TO CIRCUIT RMM02B (BU/WH) FOR OPEN
Measure the resistance between the PSE module
C2MM01-B pin 48, circuit RMM02A (BU/WH), harness

side and the handset holder C2MM17-A pin 9, circuit
RMM02B (BU/WH), harness side.
Is the resistance less than 1 ohm?
Yes
GO to E5
.
No
REPAIR the circuit(s) as necessary. TEST the system
for normal operation.
E5: CHECK CIRCUIT VMM01A (BN/GN) TO CIRCUIT VMM01B (BN/GN) FOR OPEN
Measure the resistance between the PSE module
C2MM01-B pin 49, circuit VMM01A (BN/GN), harness
side and the handset holder C2MM17-A pin 2, circuit
VMM01B (BN/GN), harness side.

Is the resistance less than 1 ohm?
Yes
GO to E6

No
REPAIR the circuit(s) as necessary. TEST the system
for normal operation.
E6: CHECK CIRCUIT RMM01A (BN/WH) TO CIRCUIT RMM01B (BN/WH) FOR OPEN
Measure the resistance between the PSE module
C2MM01-B pin 50, circuit RMM01A (BN/WH), harness
side and the handset holder C2MM17-A pin 10, circuit
RMM01B (BN/WH), harness side.

Yes
GO to E7

No
REPAIR the circuit(s) as necessary. TEST the system

Measure the resistance between the PSE module
C2MM01-B pin 42, circuit LMM18A (GN/WH), harness
side and the handset holder C2MM17-A pin 3, circuit
LMM18B (GN/WH), harness side.
