PINPOINT TEST K : DTC C2007.16: RIGHT MOTOR FAULT

K1: CHECK THE EPB MODULE SUPPLY CIRCUIT
Disconnect EPB Module C4CB01.

Measure the voltage between the EPB module
C4CB01 pin 13, circuit C_SBR03A (BU/RD), harness
side and ground.

Is the voltage greater than 10 volts?
Yes
GO to K2
.
No
REPAIR circuit C_SBR03A (BU/RD). REPEAT the self-
test, CLEAR the DTCs.
K2: CHECK THE PARKING BRAKE RELEASE ACTUATOR CIRCUITS
Disconnect Parking Brake Release Actuator C4CB06.
CAUTION: Make sure that the area around the
component is clean and free of foreign material.

Measure the resistance between the:
EPB module C4CB01 pin 12, circuit CCB18B
(YE/GY), harness side and the parking brake
release actuator C4CB06 pin 1, circuit CCB18A
(YE/GY), harness side.
EPB module C4CB01 pin 27, circuit CCB19A
(GN/BN), harness side and the parking brake
release actuator C4CB06 pin 2, circuit CCB19B
(GN/BN), harness side.

Are the resistances less than 2 ohms?
Yes
GO to K3
.
No
REPAIR circuit CCB18A (YE/GY), or circuit CCB18B
(YE/GY), or circuit CCB19A (GN/BN), or circuit
CCB19B (GN/BN). REPEAT the self-test, CLEAR the
DTCs.
K3: CHECK THE EPB MODULE MOTOR SUPPLY CIRCUIT IMPEDANCE
Disconnect Rear Junction Box C4BR02.

Measure the resistance between the EPB module
C4CB01 pin 13, circuit C_SBR03A (BU/RD), harness
side and the rear junction box C4BR02-C pin 304,
circuit C_SBR03A (BU/RD).

Is the resistance less than 2 ohms?
Yes
INSTALL a new EPB module.
REFER to: Parking Brake Module (206-05 Parking
Brake and Actuation, Removal and Installation).
REPEAT the self-test, CLEAR the DTCs.
No
REPAIR circuit circuit C_SBR03A (BU/RD). REPEAT
the self-test, CLEAR the DTCs.
PINPOINT TEST L : DTC C2007.17: RIGHT MOTOR FAULT

L1: CHECK THE EPB MODULE GROUND CIRCUIT
Disconnect EPB Module C4CB01.

Measure the resistance between the EPB module
C4CB01 pin 28, circuit GD147B (BK/VT), harness
side and ground.

Is the resistance less than 2 ohms?
Yes
GO to L2
.
No
REPAIR circuit GD147B (BK/VT). REPEAT the self-
test, CLEAR the DTCs.
L2: CHECK THE PARKING BRAKE RELEASE ACTUATOR CIRCUITS
Disconnect Parking Brake Release Actuator C4CB07.
CAUTION: Make sure that the area around the
component is clean and free of foreign material.

Measure the resistance between the EPB module
C4CB01 pin 12, circuit CCB18B (YE/GY), harness side
and the EPB module C4CB01 pin 27, circuit CCB19A
(GN/BN), harness side.

Is the resistance greater than 10,000 ohms?
Yes
INSTALL a new parking brake release actuator.
REFER to: Parking Brake Release Actuator (206-05
Parking Brake and Actuation, Removal and
Installation).
REPEAT the self-test, CLEAR the DTCs.
No
REPAIR circuit CCB18A (YE/GY), or circuit CCB18B
(YE/GY), or circuit CCB19A (GN/BN), or circuit
CCB19B (GN/BN). REPEAT the self-test, CLEAR the
DTCs.
PINPOINT TEST M : DTC C2007.19: RIGHT MOTOR FAULT

Disconnect EPB Module C4CB01.

Disconnect Parking Brake Release Actuator C4CB07.

Measure the resistance between the EPB module
C4CB01 pin 12, circuit CCB18B (YE/GY), harness side
and the EPB module C4CB01 pin 27, circuit CCB19A
(GN/BN), harness side.

Is the resistance greater than 10,000 ohms?
Yes
INSTALL a new parking brake release actuator.
REFER to: Parking Brake Release Actuator (206-05
Parking Brake and Actuation, Removal and
Installation).
REPEAT the self-test, CLEAR the DTCs.
No
REPAIR circuit CCB18A (YE/GY), or circuit CCB18B
(YE/GY), or circuit CCB19A (GN/BN), or circuit
CCB19B (GN/BN). REPEAT the self-test, CLEAR the
DTCs.
PINPOINT TEST N : DTC C2007.1D: RIGHT ACTUATOR FAULT

N1: CHECK THE BRAKE DISC AND PADS
Remove the wheel and tire.
REFER to: Wheel and Tire (204-04 Wheels and Tires, Removal and
Installation).

Connect WDS.

Select 'Service' mode and retract brake pads.

CHECK the brake disc and brake pads.

Are the brake disc and brake pads OK?
Yes
REFER to: Parking Brake Release Actuator (206-05 Parking Brake and
Actuation, Removal and Installation).
No
REFER to: Brake Pads - Vehicles With: Electronic Parking Brake (206-04
Rear Disc Brake, Removal and Installation).
PINPOINT TEST O : DTC C2008.01/18: LEFT MOTOR FAULT

Disconnect EPB Module C4CB01.

Measure the resistance between the EPB module
C4CB01 pin 14, circuit CCB16B (WH/VT), harness
side and the EPB module C4CB01 pin 29, circuit
CCB17A (BU/GN), harness side

Is the resistance greater than 10,000 ohms?
Yes
GO to O2
.
No
Connect the EPB module. REPEAT the self-test,
CLEAR the DTCs. If the DTC remains
GO to O2
.
O2: CHECK THE PARKING BRAKE RELEASE ACTUATOR CIRCUITS
Disconnect Parking Brake Release Actuator C4CB06.
CAUTION: Make sure that the area around the
component is clean and free of foreign material.

Measure the resistance between the:
EPB module C4CB01 pin 14, circuit CCB16B
(WH/VT), harness side and the parking brake
release actuator C4CB06 pin 1, circuit CCB16A
(WH/VT), harness side.
EPB module C4CB01 pin 29, circuit CCB17A
(BU/GN), harness side and the parking brake
release actuator C4CB06 pin 2, circuit CCB17B
(BU/GN), harness side.

Are the resistances less than 2 ohms?
Yes
INSTALL a new parking brake release actuator.
REFER to: Parking Brake Release Actuator (206-05
Parking Brake and Actuation, Removal and
Installation).
REPEAT the self-test, CLEAR the DTCs.
No
REPAIR circuit CCB16A (WH/VT), or circuit CCB16B
(WH/VT), or circuit CCB17A (BU/GN), or circuit
CCB17B (BU/GN). REPEAT the self-test, CLEAR the
DTCs.
PINPOINT TEST P : DTC C2008.11: LEFT MOTOR FAULT

P1: CHECK THE PARKING BRAKE RELEASE ACTUATOR MOTOR FOR A SHORT TO
GROUND
Disconnect EPB Module C4CB01.

Measure the resistance between the:

(WH/VT), harness side and ground.
EPB module C4CB01 pin 29, circuit CCB17A
(BU/GN), harness side and ground.

Are the resistances greater than 10,000 ohms?
Yes
REPEAT the self-test, CLEAR the DTCs.
No
GO to P2
.
P2: CHECK THE PARKING BRAKE RELEASE ACTUATOR CIRCUITS FOR A SHORT TO
GROUND
Disconnect Parking Brake Release Actuator C4CB06.
