Engine oil refueling
If you cannot obtain oil of above, please
use viscous oil of SAE 5W-30
SAE
10W-40 or SAE 5W-40. Those oil may
cause starting time extended, engine
capacity declined, economy of fuel being
worse and more exhaust gas.
Chery Special Service Center will keep
refueling date record and use suggested
oil.
Chery Special Service Center is always
ready to help when you need detailed
information or suggestion.
Please do not use oil not
qualified with above requirements,
which may damage the engine. This
kind of damage is not within the
guarantee.
Oil level cannot exceed the
MAX on the dipstick.
Please do not use extra
additive or engine oil. Not only are
those additives unnecessary, but also
possibly damage the engine. This
kind of damage is not guaranteed.
Vehicle fluid
Change the fluid according to the interval
in the maintenance booklet.
Transmission oil
Automatic transmission
Check the fluid level timely during the
regular check period.
Power steering oil
Use the hydraulic oil according to Chery.
Brake fluid and clutch oil
Use Dot 4 brake fluid. Add oil till the level
reaches MAX.
Only use brake fluid without olefin.
When the vehicle is loaded
heavily(e.g.towing tail vehicle or
driving in mountain area), change
the brake fluid along with brake

pad. The brake fluid must be purely
clean. Any dirty coming into the
brake system may break the brake
capability.
Coolant
Mix 50% coolant with 50% water.
Windshield clean
Fulfill the tank with Chery windshield
shampoo and water on the rate of 1:20. If
the outside temperature is low, use winter
shampoo.
Comply with the tank instruction for the
correct mixture rate.
Used tank and filter cannot be
dumped as daily liter. Please
send to local qualified waste treatment
institution.

Please follow the set vehicle
load (if applicable). Do not exceed
the permit gross weight. Otherwise,
it may change the performance of
brake and operating and cause
accident.
Kerbed mass means the load while driving,
e.g. the gross weight including coolant
fluid, lubrication oil, 90% of tank capacity,
tool kit, spare wheel and driver’s weight
(75kg).

Working load is exclusive the kerbed mass
from the gross weight.
Accessories and successive additional
equipment will decrease the working load.
Four passengers weigh of approx.300kg,
average 75 kg per person.

Caution for tire pressure

Check tire pressure at least once per month. The pressure is
especially important for high speed.

The figure in the table is for cold tire. The pressure will rise
after tire gets hot but you need not lower the pressure.

For your convenience in checking the charging pressurefigure,
an adhesive mark is on the cover of fuel tank opening, which
shows the pressure figure.
