2.8.8 ABS Lamp Is On Even Without Malfunction Code
After dismounting the connecting pieces at
harness side, confirm if it is electrified
between pin16 at harness side and the
warning lamp driving components or not.
It is electrified or not?
Start the engine, and connect pin16 at
the harness side to ground wire.
Inspect and replace the
wiring of pin16 at the side
of harness.
Inspect and replace warning
lamp assembly
The warning lamp is
off or not
Replace HECU

2.8.9 Unable to Communicate (Analyzer Unable to Communicate with HECU)
Properly joint the connecting piece at
the harness side, and confirm whether it
is able to communicate.
Confirm the connection status of the
connecting piece of analyzer and
diagnostic interface.
Replace the fuse
It is normal or not?
Yes

Yes
It is electrified or
not?
Can it communicate or not?
After removing the connecting pieces at
harness side, confirm if it is electrified
between pin7 at the harness side and the
pin7 of vehicle connecting piece or not.
After confirming the malfunction code,
refer to specific diagnostic procedures.
Inspect and replace the analyzer

Inspect and replace the wiring of
pin at the harness side.
Inspect the fuse of ABS
ECU to see whether it is
burnt out or not.

After removing the connecting pieces at
harness side, inspect the connection of
pin15 at harness side and ground point
(No. 8 or 24), finally measure the voltage
between pin13 and pin15.
Confirm if there is power supply
(IGN1+) to G-sensor or not. And then
confirm whether the current between
pin13, pin15 at harness side and G-
sensor is switched on.
Within 0.6~4.5V or not?
Inspect the wiring at
G-sensor
side
and
harness
side,
and
replace if necessary.
It is electrified or not?
Inspect
the
pin8
at
harness side and the pin
ground condition.
Replace HECU
Yes
It is less than 1Ω or not?

Ⅲ Wheel Alignment Inspection and Adjustment
Ⅰ Adjustment before Inspection
1. The Following Inspection Efforts Shall Be Performed Prior to Checking Wheel
Alignment.
1 ) Check tire pressure and adjust to set value.

2) Inspect body height
Prior to measuring vehicle height, pressurize tire to specified value (note: the pressure
value of right and left tires shall be identical).
a. Forehead measuring point
Measure the height between the ground and the
center point of connecting bolt that joins the
lower control arm assembly and the front
knuckle. The body height of the left and right
wheels shall be identical.
