Fuel

Fuel tank capacity:

Gasoline engine: 57 liters

Use the following fuel level only, and
use the high quality fuel containing
the cleaning agents and other
additive agents. Using the lower level
fuel can damage the engine.

If you can’t buy the high quality
gasoline containing additives
temporarily, or when the engine has
such defaults as poor start,
inconsistent idle or poor power and
etc, a proper amount of additives
shall be added when refueling. The
fuel additives play a role in preventing
the engine from corroding and

scaling, and cleaning the fuel system,
and also can prevent the throttle
valve casing from freezing within the
temperature range of 0 to 15

℃.

The Chery Authorized Service Station
has the fuel additives in stock
certified by this company. The staff of
the service station is accomplished in
its application method and the
method to process the scale of
engine, and provide you with warm
service.

Please don’t use the
additives or engine

treatment agents without the
authorization of this company.
These additives aren’t only
unnecessary to use, but also

may damage the engine under
some conditions. This kind of
damage is NOT covered in this
warranty.

You may hear the fizz sound when
you open the fuel filler cap. And this
is normal and can be overlooked.

93# above unleaded gasoline
(its octane value is above 93)

It is no harmful to use the unleaded
gasoline with higher octane value, but
it seems there is no greater
advantage.

The car equipped with the catalytic
converter must use the unleaded
gasoline only.

To avoid the occurrence of filling

improper fuel, the

necked refill

opening

design is applied for the fuel

tank to enable the compressor gun
for unleaded gasoline only to stretch
into the opening to fill fuel.

If you fill the leaded
gasoline into the fuel

tank by accident, please don’t
start up the engine (even if filling
a little of leaded gasoline only).
The lead contained in the fuel
may make the oxygen sensor
and catalytic converter damaged
permanently. It is recommended
to contact the nearest Chery
Authorized Service Station
immediately.

Engine oil

Replace engine oil

It is recommended by the Chery
Company to use the full synthetic oil
10W-30 engine oil. The design for our
automobile engine specifies to apply
this kind of engine oil. To achieve the
optimal performance, please take
care to use the engine oil as required.
The viscous SAE 5W-40 engine oil is
also available.

Add engine oil

If you can’t find the engine oil
conforming to these specifications,
you must use the viscous SAE 5W-
30, SAE 10W- 40 or SAE 5W-40
engine oil according to the outside
temperature. Using these engine oils

Recommended oil

may generate the extended start
time, poor engine performance and
poor fuel economical efficiency, and
increases the exhaust emission.

Any Chery Authorized Service Station
will keep the related records on date
to renew the oil, and will also use the
recommended engine oil.

If you require the detailed comments
or information, each Chery
Authorized Service Station will
pleasantly help you.

Please don’t use the
engine oil that doesn’t

conform to the specification and
requirement above because
these improper engine oils may
damage the engine, which this

kind of damage is NOT covered
in this warranty.

The added engine oil
level shall not be higher

than the MAX mark on the dip
stick.

Please don’t use the
additional additives or

engine treatment agents
because these additives aren’t
only unnecessary to use, but
also may damage the engine
under some conditions. This
kind of damage is NOT covered
in this warranty.

Automobile oil/fluid

Please replace the oil/fluid according
to the time interval listed in the
Maintenance Manual.

Transmission oil

Manual transmission

Check the oil level regularly during
the normal inspection period.

Power assisted steering
oil

Use the hydraulic oil conforming to
the Chery Company’s specification.

Brake fluid and clutch oil

The Dot 4 brake fluid is available, and
is added to the MAX mark as

required.

The brake fluid without paraffin wax is
available only.

In the case of heavy load
(with trailer, a long time

driving in the mountain area, for
example), it shall be performed
to simultaneously replace the
brake gasket and the brake fluid.
It must be ensured that the brake
system is absolutely clean
during adding the brake fluid,
and it may make the braking
performance if any foreign
polluted substances enter into
the braking system.

Coolant

The coolant with compounding ratio
of 50% SOFT WATER and 50%
ETHYLENE GLYCOL is available.

Window glass-cleaning
fluid

Fill the stock tank with the Chery’s
window glass-cleaning concentrated
solution and water (1:20). If the
outside temperature is lower, the
winter window glass-cleaning fluid is
applied.

For correct concentration refer to the
description on the container.

Do not throw away the
empty/waste oil container

and cleaner as domestic waste.

Please use local authorized waste
disposal facilities.
