Section Three Unfixing the Engine

One. Unfixing the crank shaft belt pulley
1. Unfixing
(1) Detach the storage battery cathode fittings;
(2) Jack up the car;
(3) Unfix the right wheel and attachment driving belt cover plate;
(4) Unfix the attachment driving belt (see Driving Belt – Unfixing)
(5) Unfix the crank shaft belt pulley bolt; use special puller and unfix the belt pulley
(Figure 1).

2. Fixing
(1) Fix the crank shaft belt pulley with a
special tool (Figure 2).
(2) Screw on the bolt of the crank shaft
belt pulley with a torque of 115N.m.
(3) Fix the driving belt (see Driving Belt
– Fixing).
(4) Fix the attachment driving belt cover
plate.
(5) Lower the car.
(6) Connect the storage battery cathod
fittings.

Two. Bracket
1. Unfixing the upper torsion bar
(1) Unscrew the bolts of the torsion bar
and the engine bracket (Figure 3).
(2) Unfix the upper torsion bar.
