4. Speed Sensors

Possible Cause

4. Fault Code 00283, 00285, 00290, 00287
[Description]
This code will be displayed when open circuit or short
circuit of sensor is detected.
[Tip]
The fault may be caused by poor contact of sensor, short
circuit of sensor coil or wire harness, or problem with
sensor signal processing circuit in ABS ECU.

·

Large or medium open circuit of

sensor adapter

·

Short circuit of sensor circuit

·

Short circuit of sensor plug or wire

harness with earthproof or power

Check wire harness between

sensor and ABS ECU

Normal

Replace ABS ECU

Demount ABS ECU plug
and check the resistance
between following
terminals.

Standard value:1.0-1.3kΩ

Shake sensor wire harness
and adapter when
measuring resistance.

5. ABS Coding Error

Possible Cause

5. Fault Code 01044
[Description]
This code will be displayed when inconsistency
between software coding of ECU and hardware
connection of ABS wire harness is detected.

·

Wrong connection of plunger

pin in ABS wire harness

·

ABS ECU coding error

No

Recode

Check if software coding of ABS ECU is
correct with fault diagnoser
Correct value: refer to related ABS
electrical wiring diagram
