1. Sunroof Model and Functions

Chery SQR7160 and SQR7162 cars adopt the Agate Super 300 sunroof, which is the latest product
manufactured by Webasto Sunroof Germany.

With excellent appearance, the powerful micro-computer control

module provides programmable presetting positions for

glass-opening. Automatic closing with engine stopping and

clamping-prevention functions are available.

Maximized sliding and tilting range, 10# sage green tempered glass

may prevent 99.9% UV radiation and 96% heat.

High grade roller sunshade may stop

at any desired position.

2． 1 Glass panel

One of the major parts of sunroof, installed above

mechanism group, provides excellent sealing results

when matching with upper frame and rubber sealing

strip.

2． 2 Upper frame

A plastic frame which supports mechanism group

and glass plate and helps to produce excellent

sealing.

2． 3 Mechanism group

One of the major parts of sunroof, installed in upper

frame on both left and right sides to move glass

panel. This is the operating component that tilts and

opens sunroof.

2． 4 Module and motor assembly

Covered by control panel, module has a chip that

stores programs for various sunroof functions and

motor operations. Motor provides power for opening

and shutting of sunroof.

2． 5 Chain and gear

Installed on upper frame on both left and right sides,

one end of chain and gear is driven by motor, the

other end is connected to mechanism group. They

evenly transfer the power output by motor to left and

right mechanism group, thus tilting or opening

sunroof.

3.Functions of Sunroof

3.1 Control panel

button resumes preset position 1

button tilts and slides backward the sunroof

button slides forward the sunroof

C button completely shuts the sunroof in a quick

manner

3.2 Opening/shutting sunroof

3.2.1 Lightly press buttons (for a period of time

less than 0.1 second), sunroof will automatically

fully open or shut.

3.2.2 Lightly press buttons (for a period of time

less than 0.1 second) when the glass plate is

sliding, glass plate will stop at current position.

3.2.3 Lightly press C button (for a period of time less

than 0.1 second) when the sunroof is at any

position, glass plate will automatically fully shut.
