This is not a fault! The vehicle

fuel level was low and the fuel

fired booster heater module shut

down to improve the MPG,

advise vehicle driver that below a

certain fuel level the auxiliary

Removal and installation

Fuel Fired Booster Heater

Removal

1 . Remove the fender splash shield.

For additional information, refer to Fender Splash Shield (76.10.90)

2 . Disconnect the fuel fired booster heater fuel line.

3 . Remove the fuel fired booster heater retaining bolt.

4 . Raise the vehicle.

5 . Remove the radiator splash shield.
