Supplemental Restraint System - Side Air Bag Module

Removal and Installation

Removal

Make the SRS system safe.

Remove the front seat backrest cover.

Refer to:

Front Seat Backrest Cover

(501-10 Seating, Removal and

Installation).

Remove the front seat backrest pad.

WARNING: Do not probe supplemental restraint

system (SRS) electrical connectors.

Torque: 10 Nm

Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Disconnect the battery ground cable.

Remove the headliner.
