Remove the cylinder head cover.

1.

Install the cylinder head cover gasket.

Apply sealant evenly in the cylinder head gasket.

Install the cylinder head cover.

4.

Tighten the cylinder head cover bolts.

Note

When tightening, tighten a single bolt several times,
in accordance with the specified torque.
Short Bolts:
Torque: 9 Nm (Metric) 6.7 lb-ft (US English)

Long Bolts, Nuts, Special Bolts:
Torque: 11 Nm (Metric) 8.2 lb-ft (US English)

Install the crankcase ventilation vacuum tube.

Install the crankcase ventilation tube.

7.

Install ignition coil and ignition wire.

8.

Install the engine plastic shield.

9.

Connect the battery negative cable.

Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to

2.

Rotate the drive belt tensioner anti-clockwise with a
wrench to remove the drive belt.

Note

In the removal process, prevent the wrench slipping
causing injury to the operator.

Installation Procedure:

Wrap the drive belt as shown.

Rotate the drive belt tensioner clockwise with a wrench to
install the drive belt.
