INSPECTION PROCEDURE
1
Check neutral start switch (Park/Reverse range switch circuit).
PREPARATION:
(a)
Jack up the vehicle.
(b)
Disconnect the connector from the neutral start switch.
CHECK:
Check continuity between each terminal shown below when the
shift lever is moved to each position.
OK:
P range switch
Terminals 3 – 1
Continuity
R range switch
Terminals 3 – 2
Continuity
NG
Replace neutral start switch.
OK

Check for open and short circuit in harness and connector between terminals P
and R of skid control ECU and engine and ECT ECU connector and battery (See
page IN–32).
NG
Repair or replace harness or connector.
OK
Check and replace skid control ECU or en-
gine and ECT ECU.

was moved other than to P range within 15 sec. soon after
ECU terminal IG1 become ON for the first time.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
1
Check if zero point calibration of yaw rate sensor has done or not.
Obtains the zero point calibration of the yaw rate sensor (See page DI–205).
CHECK:
Check that the VSC indicator light comes on and the both indicators go off after 15 seconds.
