1. Screw clamping pliers to puller and tighten.

2. Clamp front axle shaft flange in vise with aluminum jaws.

3. Place thrust piece (010e) with large diameter on front axle shaft flange.

4. Insert complete puller over inner bearing race. Clamp tensioning pliers around upper grooves using

conical sleeve of puller.

5. Pull off and remove bearing inner race from front axle shaft flange using puller.

The front axle shaft flange is now pulled out using a
stationary press and not with the auxiliary hydraulic
press.

Installation: Ensure that the circlip

seats securely in the wheel carrier.
